MURAL PROJECT: a new public art project for Au Sable Forks

The Ausable Theater in partnership with ARTSCAPES Essex County will collaborate on the creation of a major mural on the South-side of our building in downtown Ausable Forks! With input from the community, the goal of the mural will be to enhance our local identity, foster civic engagement, and promote the beauty our area.

We believe public art transforms spaces: it tells our stories, honors our history, and sparks creativity. By bringing murals, sculptures, and other art installations to our towns, we are creating welcoming spaces that celebrate community pride and encourage people to gather, explore, and invest in our community.

But we can’t do this without you!

Join us for a community meeting where we will engage in conversations about this exciting public project in addition to organizing a apprenticeship program.
